Hello all!

I was running a Bean Animal drain but my trouble was that sometimes it would get out of sync and get noisy, so I'm planning on going back to a simple Durso and hoping to make it quiet.

I have a ghost overflow box, and my return will only be about 100-200 gph.

I have 3 one inch drains. My plan is to plug one, use a durso on a second, and have the third be an emergency drain.

Would it be quieter to use 1" pipe on the durso drain? Or should I go with 3/4 or 1/2? Can I extend the airline to make it quieter? Or double up the pipe? Or wrap it in insulation?

My main concern is stopping water trickling noise.

Any tips would be much appreciated!
Thank you!

My durso would surge and was not very quiet. Bean Animal on the other hand, when set up properly, crickets. The only time I hear it is for a minute or two after the pumps come back on. I've personally not heard of any overflow that is has quiet has Beans.
