Hi all,
As some of you may know I’ve been dealing with a suspected Ick and velvet outbreak accompanied by a bacterial infection. And I’m at my wits end with copper it just doesn’t seem to be working. Question is can my leopard wrasse tolerate CP?
I know all of my other fish can. Thanks

@HotRocks What´s happens with wrasses when you use CP?

Sincerely Lasse
@Lasse they just won't tolerate the medication. For whatever reason they become lethargic, won't eat, etc. The treatment period is 10-30 days depending on if you are using a single tank or multiple tanks.

There have been reports of people successfully treating Cirrhilabrus and halichoeres with CP. I haven't really worked with wrasses and CP much personally since copper has never presented much of an issue for me with wrasses. I have successfully treated a few thalassoma with CP.

What are your copper levels? I had velvet get through 1.75ppm on a fairy wrasse in the second run at 2.0ppm it was gone. I know @HotRocks and @4FordFamily have been discussing this lately.
