Can a Nassarius Snail get stuck under a rock?

I moved a rock and I have a few nassarius snails in the tank. They were all under the sand at the time of the move. If I potentially placed the rock in a spot where there are nassarius snails under, could they get stuck there or can they find their way out?

I think that if the rock presses on the shell it can get trapped, but following this one to learn
