Can a sandsifting goby clean the sand TOO Much?

Hi all,

So I have this Diamond Watchman Goby and MAN does he move my substrate around. He's a MACHINE! Since I've had him, over the past 6 months or so, I've lost a starfish, a chunk of my clean-up crew, and now a tiger sand conch. Is it possible that this goby is such an efficient and voracious cleaner that he's starving out my other clean-up crew?

Oh. No there’s no way a single goby is cleaning that much sand to the point the other inhabitants are starving.
