Has anyone had the experience that running activated carbon causes acro mainly to bleach and die.
wether it be because the water becomes crystal clear and more uv is hitting them or because the nutrients are gone.

It is most likely due to lack of nutrients that you are experiencing that. I would suggest doing a water change and pulling the carbon. The carbon itself isn't the issue.

Thanks. I’m not experiencing it. I just don’t want to. The water is so clear I’m thinking of turning the uv down a little as it can penetrate the water more.

I run carbon and UV 24/7. I also dose nitrates daily and phosphates weekly to keep levels elevated. I would bottom out in nutrients within 24-48 hours, which can cause corals to decline in a short period.

Carbon itself wont effect the corals.
