Hello,

I have 3 nems in my tank. My carpet nem found a spot and hasn't moved for weeks. However my other 2 seem to wander a bit. I have read this can be due to water quality issues but everything is testing fine and I keep up with water changes. My clown does host the one but seems to get confused as the nem moves around. Can I pick a spot for it and glue it down somehow?

Thanks!

You don't want to do that. If you stick them down (1) they'll become irritated by the glue and (2) if you stick them in a place they dont like they'll most likely die, and when they die they release toxins that could wipe out your tank. Best bet is to monitor them as they wonder and find a spot they eventually like. Water quality isn't always the reason for a nem to move around. Lighting and flow play a big part in it as well.

Only God could accomplish this request ;)

The other 2 I believe are called bubble tip. I will continue to monitor and hopefully they find a spot they like. I have been alternating feeding reef roids and another refrigerated coral food. I have my light on a controlled timer so that shouldn't be an issue...it's the current USA loop system (LED).

If you have an open area away from other rocks you can make them an island where they move around that Rock since they don't like moving threw sand assuming you have sand otherwise there's nothing you can do they are not like zoas you can't glue them down that's like gluing a fish to a rock it will die

I had to check to see if this was posted yesterday...

No, nems can not be glued down, and agree, different species nems will have different needs and requirements.
