Hello and thanks in advance, after spending countless time on the internet trying to identify these worms I cannot find any that look like mine.... They look like bristle worms but have a dark colored stripe down their back? Not sure if they are beneficial or should be removed?. The biggest is around 1"-1.5" in length.

looks like a normal bristle worm. Usually not an issue.

Edit: the dark stripe means they have a full stomach, i assume anyhow.
So a full stomach?!, Huh interesting..... I'm new to the salt community and wasn't to sure as to what it is, well fairly new when I was a kid I killed allot of stuff unfortunately lol. And trying not to repeat that trend.

When they are hungry, the center seems to be light in color. I could be completely wrong about it being food. But after they eat, it appears to be dark in that region. I say mostly safe because of the small amount of complaints on fish with bristles in the face. Very rarely happens.

Here's a picture, it seems to be inside the worm rather than external. But I could be wrong.
