Can anyone help me with a freshwater fish?

I feel bad for posting this here for obvious reasons but I'm not a member to any freshwater forums and my sick cory asked if anyone here could please help him! Not sure what this is but he is so far the only one affected. The only medication I had on hand was Melafix so I put some in my tank. If there is a different medication needed I will gladly pick some up!

I can't really tell, but Google methylene blue for fish and see if the symptoms match what it treats.

It doesn't look like ich and it isn't the rust color attributed to velvet so I don't think methylene blue is the right treatment. Thanks anyways. I'll keep digging
