Could it be bryopsis? I have that growing in my tank and it sometimes get into the sand and looks similar to that. Unless I don't actually have bryopsis.... I guess then maybe we can both learn something if someone else chimes in.

How many species does it look like to you? From the pictures there seems to be hair algae mixed with a fat filament species.

Looks like a mixed bag going on here. Some green hair algae and possible dino's. Probably going to need a microscope to positively identify everything here.
