Is someone in your family playing a trick and tossing earthworms in your tank :winking-face:

Many of the most common reef associated worms have bristles and an extendable mouth (sometimes with fangs).

Bumping this up to see if anyone has encountered anything similar to yours in their reef tank.

I know it does look like a earth worm but it definitely came from the detritus in my over flow box. I'm concerned because I have been loosing chalices and a few lps lately my sps are great. Could it be a peanut worm? Do they eat coral? Just lps coral? I started with dry rock and dip everything. But I can't figure out why some of my corals are dying. I have never lost a fish. Any idea's

Need to see this one in water. While not a eunicid worm, it could still be something dangerous. Or, just a typical detrivore. Your coral losses could be related to a pest. I would imagine the worm being hidden under it's main food source. So, this is most likely not the culprit killing your coral.
