Can anyone ID this algae (if it is algae)?

Hi

Sorry for the picture quality, but dang hard to get a decent picture.

This thing are very coarse and grows pretty slow. I only have it a few places.
Pretty hard to remove.
Any ideas on what it is? Will try getting better picture when more light is on the tank.

It is not aptasia. I can't seem to get a good picture.

It might be. I tried picking some out, and looks a bit like it. However, it grows very slowly and the little patch in the blurry picture has taken weeks to grow.

If looks a fern or feathers it bryopsis for sure and turf is a mat look

i suggest to do this outside the tank, but, if or when you pull/rip it, can you feel a "snap" the moment you pull/rip it? if so, my educated guess says its bryopsis.

Not really looking like any of them.
Just a few dark strings. No feathers I can see, and not growing like a mat..few single strains.

Well, I did what I have always done on patches of algae, which is using hydrogen peroxide.
I tried remove some, but felt more squishy than I remember. Could be the H2O2.
What puzzles me is the growth rate, which is almost none existing.

the peroxide could have made it weak/brittle. keep doing it.
