I have never had this issue before but had to move my tank shortly after setting it up. I didn't seem to have a cycle but the corals have all seen better days from the stress of two tank moves. Now this stuff is taking over the whole tank. It seems like more of a jelly in my hands.

Bacterial of fungus of some sort maybe?

Everyone said sponge. Ended up being white algae, got some hermits all but a few small patches they haven't eaton yet are gone
