Can anyone ID this growth

There are way too many species of hydroids to actually give them a name. I never try to ID that specially.
 
Oh sorry I meant in the picture, are you saying they are not aptasia but instead hydroids? Or are you talking about the thing with a mouth that appears to be some type of filter feeder?

That's a photosynthetic hydroid that my arrow is pointing to.

Are they only on the frag? If yes, take it out and @twilliard can tell you what to use.

These aren't good, no. They can be a pain if they get everywhere.

We used to call those pom pom hydroids and includes a few different species. One type is Myrionema. They are different than the "regular" hydroids in that they have color due to the tissues that make them photosynthetic.
