Yup to Limpet, the vast majority are harmless algae eaters, occasionally you see one that dines on sps corals. I do not remove them.

Word of caution, they are great, and often out eat my turbos, but reproduce fast! This doesn't seem like a problem, until you account for their lack of shell, i.e. drain pipe deterrent. They seem to have a liking for high flow with ample food supply.

Thanks for the information guys. This system has been up for 6 months & that's the first critter/ hitchhiker I've found , and I had no idea what it was.
