be careful if it is a Hydnophora...they're about the most owerful stingers in all the SPS. If ANYTHING falls into contact with it, the hydno WILL win....Experience speaks....

it going to stay there for a while as soon as it start's getting bigger i will have to move it my blue tort is close to it

+1 on hydro. i have a neon green 1...leather coral fell on it leather didnt open for months and shrunk and finally came back..sea fan fell on it and died... ..

I'm no pro, but thats no hydro ;) Can you get a picture with the polyps retracted?

I here ya mark but the only thing I have ever saw that fuzzy was a green hydro... It could be a pocci but very hard to tell with all that pe. A retracted pic would help as you suggested...

I'm with Mark....not a hydnophora. Tough to say from that pic. But I would say perhaps a brown millie or wild acropora. Once we see the coralite structure, it will help with id.

i will try to get a pic of it with out PE it's pink kinda well i should say it has some pink to it but it's not a millie i dont think i have a pink millie and not the same

I dont think its a mille either, nor a prostrata though. Is it a wild? Again I am no expert but I have some of both of those, and they look nowhere similiar. Resembles a hydno more than anything I have seen.
