Fairly new to the hobby. Hope this is not terrible news for me...

Notice these guys in my sump. I noticed a few of them. Seem to have made a home in my marine pure block.

Awesome! Thanks! That was my guess, but as a newbie I always assume the worse :-). Wonder how he got here. My wrasse has been picking at rocks like crazy so was hoping it was pods. Wondering if I have copepods too...

Mandarin goby is on my wish list...

Did you introduce live rock into your system? Amphipods can hitchhike on rock, frag plugs. ..... .etc. as well as copepods, isopods, bristle worms, parasites.. .. ... .etc.

Nope, bleached dry pukani from BRS. If I wear to guess, probably a frag before I learned you should dip them.

As everyone else said, they're great! I started with seeing one on a piece of rock section for a few months, then slowly over time I could see more and more in some sections of my rock work, then now, if I were to go look into my tank since the lights are on, I'd see tons of them running around.
You will have a good amount soon enough!
