Can anyone help me ID what this discolored bump on my wrasse is?

Just looks like an injury to me - did it occur overnight or slowly develop? Is the fish still acting normal?

Yup, looks like he was sleeping under a rock and got startled awake and jumped up to see what was happening. I hate when that happens.

Agree on injury and can be any object. Keep an eye on it for healing and not developing infection which will show redness. Would not be bad to have seachem neoplex on hand in the event it gets infected

I just noticed it the other day. So it came out of nowhere. He's still acting normal and eating. He is a little skittish so hopefully its just a minor injury as you guys say.
