Can anyone ID?

Can anyone ID? Nothing has changed in the tank and here we are. Doesn’t look slimy like cyano. No bubbles or strings like dinos. Even after stir of sand it comes back. Happened after another weekly water change and I vacuumed the sand bed.

0TDS. 8ppm nitrate, .03 phosphate.

Do I need to dirty up the water a bit? In the past I would do a blackout. Can’t do that now with all my coral. Any help would be awesome! Thank you!

I'd be very suspicious of dinos... it really looks like them. But the live rock looks very young, so I'm assuming this is a very new tank... so possibly a diatom bloom. But, it sure looks like dinos to me.

You can attempt a blackout. The corals should be fine... I've done 9 day blackouts with coral and they were fine.

A microscope pic would be very beneficial if you have access to a scope, though.

Just ordered a scope and will post a pic tomorrow afternoon. Assuming it’s dinos, I’m not sure what the next course of action is. I have a skimmer and UV Sterilizer. My levels are good. 0 TDS water. It just doesn’t make sense to me.
