Can anybody identify this worm?
What can cause it to appear & what can I do about it if it can cause negative results?

Bristle worm. Maybe an orange fire worm? Not sure. If it's a bristle worm it's a harmless deteitovor. If it's a fire worm, it's almost the same thing but is more carnivorous.
