I am new to the hobby and my tank is about 4 months old. This started growing off of one of my coral skeletons can anyone identify what it is?

The tentacles are bubbles, I will pull it out to be safe. I just wanted an opinion on what it could be in case it grew to be something cool but if it could be bad I'm getting rid of it

Does look like a Mojano and they are NOT GOOD! Was the coral rock actually dead or was there a coral there before and it just appeared to die? You'd be surprised how tenacious life is. I've had corals that I was about to pull out the skeleton just to have it slowly come back.

Is that coral skeleton belong to a bubble coral? Physogyra sp. May be remnant of die off and is coming back? Could also be a translucent anemone like a strawberry anemone.

Did u buy this coral skeleton as live rock? Or is it a coral that died under your care? Either way, it's not uncommon to have remnant flesh remain and come back from getting coral skeleton. Happens all the time.
