Hi guys, can anyone tell me what this green stuff is growing out of my zoa frag? It's definitely not HA

I fear this might be algae... It looks a bit like young bryopsis...

Have you touched it? i.e. can you pull it off? Does it appear to be on the frag plug or the zoas?

Did you dip the frag before putting it in your tank?

Thanks for your reply, it looks like it's attached to the plug. No I didn't dip before. Shall I see if I can remove it by hand?

looks like bryopsis I am not sure how you can get it off the plug...especially with zoas .....ugh!

Looks like briopsis too. Get out of tank, pull what you can, do a peroxided dip and keep a close eye on it. Briopsis sucks if it gets out of hand.

Bummer! Will it spread like wild fire? What do you thinks best to do, take it out and dip it or ditch it before it spreads
