Hello,

I have these little guys spreading all over. Any ideas?

Some are purple, some are blue.


Any ideas? New to the hobby and cant find anything to help me ID

When I bought the tank, saw purple thought coraline algae ... whoops

They are blue clove Polyps. They are quite invasive.
 
If I was to scrape these and put them on a frag.. do they have value?

If you can sell them, do it! ......But most reefers know they are the devils Polyps. lol

Do you think I will have any issues if I remove these manually with a huge set of tweezers?

My main concern is messing with the water chemistry or nuking the tank(noob)

I don’t think it’s worth the time. You won’t get rid of them..... they’ll just keep coming back unfortunately.
