I have these little guys spreading all over. Any ideas?

Some are purple, some are blue.


Any ideas? New to the hobby and cant find anything to help me ID

When I bought the tank, saw purple thought coraline algae ... whoops

They are blue clove Polyps. They are quite invasive.

Blue clove polyps. They can definitely become invasive.
There is a thread about getting rid of them with fenbendazole, but not sure how invert safe it is

If I was to scrape these and put them on a frag.. do they have value?

Only if someone offers you money for them

If you can sell them, do it! ......But most reefers know they are the devils Polyps. lol

Do you think I will have any issues if I remove these manually with a huge set of tweezers?

My main concern is messing with the water chemistry or nuking the tank(noob)

I don’t think it’s worth the time. You won’t get rid of them..... they’ll just keep coming back unfortunately.
