Can anyone identify this?

This appears to be some type of algae but I’m not sure. It’s not a coral and it is growing very fast.

looks like cyano (red slime) to me...

No it’s not cyano I have had that this is floating and only growing off this one rock no where else in my tank

Try to siphon it out as part of a small water change.

Cyano can float and grow off one rock also...

If its hard it could be plating corraline. If its soft it could be a sponge.

Yea it’s soft might be some kind of sponge
