What other fish are in with it? Could it be damage from fighting? Since its in copper and you dosed metro, that leaves bacteria as a possible infection source. Do you have any antibiotics on hand?

None of those would treat a primary bacterial infection - you would need Neoplex, Furan-2, or some other gram negative broad spectrum antibiotic.
