Can anyone identify whats wrong with my clownfish?

I have a damsil, 2 shrimp and another clownfish that all are fine. The infected one is still active and eating.

Welcome to R2R!!!! Sorry your first post has to be in the disease forum but let’s get this figured out. Did you QT your clowns? Any other symptoms than that spot, sloughing skin? Heavy breathing? Reclusive? Flashing (scratching)? Can you describe that spot it’s hard to make out. Does it appear to be something stuck to the fish?

I have not done any sort of QT, the local fish store recommended API melafix and have been using for 2 days. The spot is def growing in size every day and almost looks like a scab. Maybe a little more reclusiveness than usual today but nothing crazy and no other symptoms. It def seems like a growth.

Does it appear to resemble cauliflower? Have you done a FW dip? I would be curious to see if anything comes off in a FW dip.

FW dip can't hurt, but I would say that is most likely lymphocystis.

I did a fw dip and I didnt see anything come off. I set up a qt tank last night and the clown is currently in their using para guard. Should I also put his pair in the tank?

If it’s lympho you can put the clown back in the DT. But can you get a better pic so we can try to confirm lympho?
