This just started showing up on my dry rock the rock is in with other live rock.

That's the color. It's like a yellow/green. Almost neon.

It does not feel slimy, I can scrape it off but it don't rub off. It's takes some work. Just can't find anything that looks like it on the web

How old is tank? Also the perimeters, also is it slimey thick feeling?

Looks like the start of Coraline algea

Almost looks like some kind of sponge... But it looks like its only in lighted areas which is odd.

Just some algea that comes and goes in most saltwater tanks nothing to worry about at all, I'm trying to remember the name of it right now it's at the tip of my tongue lol

No problem is it a new tank? It's most common in newly setup tanks.

It's an upgrade from a 25. That's why I added the dry rock. It's a 72 now.

Looks like turf algae which is part of the cycling phase of the rock. Soon it will turn brown because of diatoms. Then hopefully purple with coraline algae.
