Why would you not want to limit the nutrients with gfo or something? Just askingAgreed with others.
Take it easy on the lights if you still have no corals. (Hopefully you have no corals.)
Also take it easy on amount of new life you're adding to the tank at any given time. Remember that the tank has almost no capacity to deal with nutrients aside from an ability to detoxify ammonia. Build slowly. Always give yourself weeks in between additions...usually a month+ for anything significant like fish. Small CUC additions may only require up to a few weeks. Make sure your CUC stays matched with the algae growing in the tank.
If you're doing anything to limit nutrients in the tank like GFO, extra bio-media, or carbon dosing – please stop now. This is especially imperative if your tank was started with dead rock.
The last two pics are concerning. If you you aren't watching your nitrates and phosphates, make at least one round of tests to assure that there are some of both in the water. Zero or near-zero are to be avoided.
Applying some nutrient controls to an old, seasoned tank is probably harmless in most cases. Applying them to a new tank seems to be devastating.
