This is the only fish in the tank. I lost the other two. It is a new tank.

Not gonna lie, since it’s the only fish, I don’t think it’s worth saving. I agree we should do the best we can do for our fish as they are our responsibility. As cruel as it sounds, is it really worth trying to save it? It’s just a $5 damsel. The copper treatment will cost you $20. And you have to go through the trouble of getting a test kit and setting up a qt etc...
I tend to agree. I am going to need a quarantine tank anyway. I think it is more about going through the process anyway. I was using the damsels as a source of ammonia ( suggestion of my LFS) but am changing things and going fishless. I will need to the tank to sit anyway now for a couple months unless I start from scratch. I was thinking 5 gallon for quarantine tank. Lessons learned guys.
I usually don’t do anything. But I’m in Florida and the water’s always 80°. You could just drop a heater in the bucket of water to warm it up.At least they were 5.00 damsels. Gonna grab a tank and heater and going to put this guy in it. I owe it to him to try and save him. How do you guys keep the water change temperature from changing the water temp in the display tank so drastically? Should i use the water from my biocube for the Qt?
