If you have aiptasia, these guys will munch them. Many thanks, just looked it up and yes it is. I have a zoa colony full of them
I think there's equal chance these are zoa-eating nudibranches. How long have you had them and are you seeing any damage? Many thanks, just looked it up and yes it is. I have a zoa colony full of them
Berghia won’t bother Zoa’s. They will eat aiptasia if you have them.I think there's equal chance these are zoa-eating nudibranches. How long have you had them and are you seeing any damage?

Update, these nudibranch are zoa eating nudibranch, I am now starting treatment for themIf you have aiptasia, these guys will munch them.
For anyone else with this problem, treatment is simple , use ro water same temp as your tank, with a few drips of malachite green, place your zoa into the solution for 5 to 10 mins. The ro water kills any live nudibranch within a minute and the malachite green will kill any eggs present. Zoa is a tough coral and not suffer any harm, next step is to rinse in clean ro waterto remove the malachite green. Repeat after 2 weeks to remove any that are roaming around your tank that try to reinfest.Def zoa eating I can see the zooanthellan in their tentacles....good luck with treatment.
Yes I have gsp's, mushrooms and a tree.I agree you need to confirm because they look very similar BUT eat very different things. For example! I was mystified that I had a very healthy Kenya tree that slowly died over time until I found what looked EXACTLY like that in you pictures eating them. And that would be my guess. Do you have any soft corals besides the zoos?
