Go ahead, laugh, it’s my attempt at gluing an Acro that was relocated. I not only managed to glue it sideways but of course still got glue all over the place lol.
What are your secrets to gluing your Acro frags so neat and clean to rocks!?

Lol.....it will all grow in and look fine. I actually use some coral putty and glue that to the bottom of the frag first. Then glue that to the rock........you can smash it in however you like.

I remove the frag from the water, dry the underneath of it, apply plenty of super glue and quickly place and hold till set.

It looks fine! Other things will cover the glue in no time (hopefully the encrusting of the coral!). I just mash em down, and twist and turn, until it feels like it's grabbing the rock. Sometimes if I over did the glue, I spread it out with my finger to flatten it out, but that's about it.:)

JB Water Weld and super glue gel.

Roll out a small ball of the water weld putty, then smush it into a disc shape.
Apply SG gel to one side, mash stem of coral into it.
Then apply SG gel to the other side and mash it into the rock work. It should stick instantly in place.
I always remove and throw away any frag plugs.

Mind blown on this simple guiness method!

Gluing out of water if possible. When I glue under water I will hold the frag still for at least half a minute after I wiggle it a bit to break the shell of the glue

I dry the frag and put a healthy glob of crazy glue gel on the bottom. Then I i quickly dip the glob of glue in a little bowl of water and the glue gets kind of a skin on it. Then I slowly put it in the display and gently press it into place popping the skin and holding it for about a min seems to eliminate the mess and works very well.

I always use a new frag plug, glue the frag out of the water and let it set. Then I cut off the bottom of the plug and glue the flat plug to the rock. This gives the coral more flat space to encrust and limits the incrustment to the plug, forcing the frag to grow upwards.

That acro is going nowhere. Its not the prettiest but the acro is secure which is the best result. I typically apply a generous bead to the plug and press the base it.

I just squeeze a glob of super glue gel on the rock underwater and let it set for 3 or 4 minutes. Then I slow stick the acro/plug in it gently twisting left and right until the glob sticks and then I hold in place for a minute or so.

I think it looks great. We’ve had success with using SeaChem coralcrete to get our corals to stay put.

I like epoxy better in the tank mead it into the rock then just shove the branch into it.

Putty and super glue. Take the plug out, put glue on the bottom of the frag and stuck it on the putty then put glue on the other side of the putty so you can stick it on the rockwork.

Am I the only one thinking that the Acro is places way too close to that other frag on the right?

Within a few month the 2 of them will be killing each other.
