Not sure if its dead or alive or dying all polys still come out ( not in pic as just moved it) its yellow but the tips seem to be changing colour/bleaching

Seems ok. My family has a acro and it's like that and its fine

Its called "growth"

All new growth is mainly white tips bc the skeleton is building up calcium carbonate with very thin tissue covering it, making it look whiteish
