Can anyone tell me what this is ???

Hi all, can anyone tell me what this is? I saw it for the first time a week or so ago and again today. It´s grown a little bit but is only about 4mm long. I have no idea where it may have come from because I have not purchased anything for my tank in months. I just need to know is it of any harm to my tank? Sorry about the picture Quality.

Can be bad, they are very specific feeders. Some eat zoas, some eat montis, some eat aptasia.

Its a zoa eating nudi. Usually when you see one there are more. Get it out asap and dip your zoas. I use coral rx seems to work good for me.

No idea what flatworm is I take it, it is some kind of treatment and not the actual animal. Living in Germany we don't have the same treatments with the same names as the States for example. So I'm going to have to ask at my local reef outlet....

that looks more like a montipora eating nudi to me. Generally the zoa eaters will blend in with the zoanthids they are eating as far as their body color is concerned. We regularly dip our stuff in Coral RX but just for the record we have used 10x concentrations at times with not too much ill effect to the coral. The most important thing you can do as you dip is move water around the coral with a turkey baster. Coral RX will not kill eggs. You must re-dip every week unfortunately. I have used RPS All out which does claim to kill eggs. No real effectiveness to report as I have not seen nudis for about four years thankfully. Good luck mate!

Not seen any in my zoos and all seem to be well..... flatworm exit unfortunately not available in Germany. I will have to find an equivalent here.
