Can Api General Cure be used with Furan-2?

I have had a pretty severe case of uronema with my clowns that have left some open wounds. I'm honestly very surprised they are pulling through. I started the dose of GC about 24 hours ago and just wanted to see if I can dose Furan-2 a long with the GC together or do I need to wait? Thanks!

You can add Furan-2.

Make sure you have ample oxygenation. Combining meds can deplete oxygen.

Also you will want to dose metroplex every 48 hours for 10-14 days as well to make sure the uronema is taken care of.

For example, GC on days 1 and 7
Metro on days 3, 5, 9, 11, 13

I’m currently doing the same as we speak. I’m dosing Metro, Furan 2, and GC in the food for Uronema. I’m not having any issues. I’m using an airstone, and a small hydor to oxygenate the water. Good luck with this! Do you have any pics of the fish you can post?

I haven’t really had an ammonia issue because I find myself doing a WC every 48 hours anyways. I have a seachem ammonia badge to keep an eye on it.
Are your clowns in a QT tank?

Furan2 will tint the water a bit. This is great advice ^^^^

They are in a 10 gallon QT with an HOB filter filled with rubble from my refug

25% water changes for QTs seem to be the sweet spot for keeping the water healthy.
