Can brine shrimp eggs hatch in reef tank?

Hey guys, i was wondering if brine shrimp eggs can hatch directly in reef tanks.. plz help..

From what I heard, they can hatch but they make a mess. The eggs will be pushed above the waterline by the flow and the rotting eggs will turn your water cloudy. Not worth the risk IMO.

I would almost guarantee it....if they didnt get eaten first. We have baby seahorses at work, and raise our own brine from eggs. All we do is put a scoop of eggs into a vessel of 1.025 room temp water, with air bubbles. They hatch over night.
