Just doing an evening check of my nocturnals with a flashlight and saw this right front and center.

One of my Bumblebee Snails drinking up a Vermedit I didn't even notice.

Going to order 6 more this week.

Remember your mileage may very. Just because this Bumblebee Snail eats Vermetids doesn't mean they all do.

Still thought it might be useful to actually see for yourself.

Those little guys are great! They also reproduce in my tank like crazy. A definite essential in my CUC.

Saw two of mine getting friendly the other night. Hopefully they reproduce.

Either that or they were trying to kill each other... Who knows lol

Yeah, I caught one of mine in the act too;

I’ve had bumblebees for about 9 months. They’ve slowly knocked back the Vermatid population.l and they’re still going. I think that a lot of people expected it to happen quickly and it doesn’t. I also think that without enough snails, the vermatids can spread faster than the snails can control them. But I do love these little guys and they look cool too.

Agreed. Mine are only going after them now after clearing out a most of the Bristleworms. Things really are predators. Kind worried for my other snails after they clear out the pests.

I actually just ordered a few to add to my CUC. Do they also eat the small featherduster/fan worms? If so, my snails are gonna have a feast.

Only have one fanworm in my tank that I can see and they have so far ignored it.
