can dead corals hurt other corals?

I recently received an order of a few corals but 4 of them didnt make it. The bags broke open during shipment. I put them all in the tank and out of the 7 corals received 4 of them died. By died I mean they fell apart. All 4 of the frags that died were zoas and they fell right off the frag plug in pieces (they melted)... does this have any ill effect on the tank because I can't find the pieces of the dead frags :\

This kind of death doesn't harm other corals. STN is a different issue if it is a bacterial infection. Those you want to get out.
