Can Dory Live in My Betta Falls?

Can dory live in my betta falls, I only have 2 bettas and one apartment is empty! Just want to know if I need new food thanks.

I actually need to know about some lighting for coral growth. I was wondering when people say you need “blue” light for coral growth, if it is just normal blue wavelength you need, or if it is also UV?

I am Doing a diy reef light and need to know what color bulbs to use. So far I am thinking:

like 50 % blue ( or UV, whichever one corals actually need )

40% white ( natural )

10% violet

anything I am seriously missing?

I would look at the specs on a higher end reef fixture like the reefi or radion or something and try to duplicate what color bulbs they use

Turns out I can’t change t, and honestly how much would revtree care about something like this.........

I got that idea from someone on here a while back ( saw it on an old intro thread ) their idea was to use bio cube, but I decided that was too nice for dory. And after all, I have a whole apartment empty! Like what can I do with it!!

( if you were wondering I don’t have a beta falls, I see them as fish abuse, even for bettas. I belive bettas need at least 5-10 gallons, and would never support such a small habitat for any fish.

I don't understand why people think it's perfectly fine to keep bettas in containers so small they can hardly move around. I cringe inside every time I walk into Petco and see the betta shelf.

Yeah, and the worst part is that there is just a lack of knowledge telling people to just not keep them in such terrible environments.

I think as far as the spectrum goes I did a lot of digging and found that you only need a small amount of uv, and even then only around 390nm works, so just a few violet diodes will do the trick.

now I either have to suck up my sanity and build myself a reef light ( I do want that app control ) , or suck up my wallet and buy a decent led. Just got off on winter break so I may choose to suck up my sanity.

yes sure, you can put 2 tang in a 1 gal betta tank. Dont worry, they will be fine. as for food, burgers and fries will be perfect.
