I want to try and set a dosing pump to auto feed Gorgonians (maybe Seahorses/Pipefish) and wondered how much solids they can handle? Considering Reefroids, baby brine shrimp, phyto, rots, pods, frozen foods like mysis? Multiple dosers from various containers in a small fridge to stop spoiling?

Possible or not?

They are not made for that and besides with food in the tubing for a period of time it will start rotting especially the shrimp part.

I think live foods would be a better option, but none would be easy to get right IMO. As mentioned above, spoilage is your #1 issue.

If you search through the forum, there are some people doing this already, so you could see how they did it and find out how successful they have been (or not).

It's not the same as what you were thinking about, but @Paul B has a good DIY baby-brine shrimp feeder design.

I was think the defrosted food would have to be in a fridge to stop spoilage? Old fridge with hole big enough for pipe, or use it for live baby brine shrimp?

Will search see if I can find any links on this group, thanks.
