I don’t understand your question but if you didn’t get an answer NO. They cannot. They very, very quickly go blind. Mine lived to 18” and about 12 years old

From what I understand they can be sensitive, and need to ramp up slower. I can't say for certain. @Jay Hemdal I see you comment in this thread how do you feel about chart.
This chart I think was made by a small survey of fish owners. A case of it survived so put it in the list I think. I see some discrepancies in it Is why I asked what you thought. I don't use any of these products much I make my own. Not copper citrate, but I have noticed a few of them don't like it if raised too fast. I like to spread it out over about 6 hrs. As for gobies I don't know, haven't owned many. They just don't do it for me. I don't like the idea of of others spitting sand all over either. Cyanide and copper products, or cyanide and ammonia is a whole other can of worms.That chart is problematic for me
