Hi there!

I have a bunch of euphyllia growing and cynaina growing next to them with no issues at all. Sometimes the euphyllia polyps are over the cynarina, sometimes the other way round.
I also have a prized scolymia which is currently standalone and I would like to move to a location next to the euphyllias (marked with the arrow):

Here's my scoly:

Am I likely to run into issues if I move her? I am almost sure that the euphyllias above will not harm her, as I think scoly and cynarina are pretty close in attitude and behavior. But there is also a gold ancora torch on the bottom, and I am not at all sure if these two will like the neighborhood.

Would appreciate any ideas whether this is a good or bad idea.

That bottom coral looks a lot like an acantho to me.

I personally would not be moving any other LPS up next to those euphyllia. It may be good forever, maybe a while, and possibly eviscerated overnight.
Thanks. I bought it as a scoly from an Indonesian wholesaler but they might be wrong. Here's another pic I just took of her. Seems to be happy and eats well

Lost in the Sauce is correct with it actually being an Acantho and not a Scoly.

I would consider it luck that your hammers are not killing your cynarina. I would not take the same risk with your Acantho.

Thanks. Do you think that I should also move the cynarina too from there as their attitude might change one day and they may start a war?

Definitely an acantho (not scoly) and definitely don’t put it next to a torch.

OK guys, thanks a bunch for the good advice. I'll keep them away from the torches then.

Welllll .. you Scored....
Well, whatever it was, I love this coral, and it was one of the most expensive specimens they had in stock. I think their husbandry must be similar, but will read more about acanthophyllias.

In my reef, I would be relocating the cynarina as well.
Great, thanks for warning me. Sure, will move that too. I am yet to find good enough spots for both of these on the bottom...

If you paid scolymia price for that acantho you may have gotten a really good deal lol

Not sure what the prices must be. I paid around 200 USD for that coral and I do not regret a single penny
