I had a Green and Purple Branching Hammer that shed almost all of it's polyps about a year and a half ago. This is what it looks like today:

In December it will be a year since my octo bailed and there's still no skeleton. Did get it a bigger container though

Same... my indo frogspawn just bailed on me, both heads. Keeping the empty skeleton in the bank of thank just in case however the polyps... keep or toss?

If I've learned anything in this hobby, it is to never count a coral out. I've had zoas I hadn't seen in months come back.

For real!! I had a massive spike in all and then phosphate. It’s taken months to get back under control. I lost a lot of corals. I’m having corals I completely forgot I had emerging again. I just noticed a torch head sticking out of a corner of rock. not sure if it just hasn’t died yet or if it’s started growing there. Still reading through the thread, but hoping this turned out well for the op!

My Octo bailed from its skeleton back in Dec. It has lived happily in this cup since then. Has yet to grow another base though. But here is proof that euphyllias can live on!

I just had a torch bail, and I found the chunk of the head over on another piece of rock.
This gives me so much hope!

I had a purple torch spawn. I had 3 baby torches that grew and started killing everything. Keep an eye on it

This frogspawn bailed a few months ago. It ended up floating to the back of the tank, behind the rocks where I can’t reach it, so it’s been left alone to survive or melt away.

I've just had this torch for 3 days, put it with my other torch frag that's done great for 4 months.

One of the heads receded yesterday & looked like the polyps started to come away from the skeleton. I've moved it on to the sandbed & away from the powerhead but doesn't look good.

When I moved it little bits come away so I've got neon green dots floating around the tank now

I had a joker torch bail on the skeleton yesterday. Parameters look decent except my phosphates need to be increased and Ph is slightly down. Calcium is 440, dkh 9.8, Mg 1450, ph 8.0, nitrates 10ppm, phosphates .03, salinity 1.025, temp 78.7.

I have an anemone hang on box, I have it there now. I put some small rubble in it. However the flow is very minimal. Any chance it attaches?

Those are really low nutritients (N and P) for a torch...

I had a hammer do this and it grew a new skeleton and formed a new colony it took quite a while though must have been about 8-12 months before I could relocate it.

So there is hope
