Yes, and one of the GREAT things about Euphylliads. I have had many mixed colonies of multiple specie and color together for a really striking looking display.
So torch can definitely touch frogspawn? I ask again BC I just moved them together 15 minutes ago and the branches have swollen where they're touching.
In some rare occasions one will not play well. I had a torch that attacked my frogspawn. Luckily it did not do the damage it would to other corals. But this torch would hit the frogspawn and the tentacles would stick to the frogspawn. I moved the torch by itself. My other torches, hammers and frogspawn touch each other if no issues. Maybe no real damage may have happened but it was the first and only time i saw my euphyllia tentacles stick to another.
I have torches touching without a problem but have not tried any others. I am hoping they all play well as I have about 7 different ones I am going to try arranging together.
I had heard that they don't affect each other. However, that wasn't my experience when I placed my torch directly above my frogspawn. All went well for about 2 weeks. Then, the frogspawn branches that were being touched by the torch retracted completely. I separated them 1 week later.
