Can filter socks pull out medications?

I have noticed the need for additional doses of medication on one of my systems i also noticed allot of foaming at the inlet of the socks, can they have pulled out the medication?

That isn't an easy question.

The socks themselves should not absorb any medication. However, if the medication is being absorbed by the proteins causing the foaming, your socks could be removing them.
