Can fishkeeping become an addiction?

I believe it can... and here is why...

Gotcha catch em all,sorry that’s Pokemon[emoji848]

I can stop any time I want to, and I almost have on several occasions, but I just have this feeling that I'll be missing something if I do... is that an addiction?

At least I've downsized from 4 tanks totaling 600g of saltwater in the house to just a 50g cube with a 40g sump/refugium. So I guess now I'm only mildly addicted?

It’s a bad addiction.
Started with a 20 gallon FW in January now I have 5 tanks in my condo!

Yes it can be because I have a 75 gallon now But want to go bigger
Sadly if you don’t have the fund it feels like withdrawal everyday lol

I'm not addicted. Addictions are expensive!!! By the way.....I really, really, really, really want to buy an Apex Controller!!! [emoji13]

Semantics nitpick here. I’d call it more of an obsession. One I’m definitely in the grips of. I literally feel like Smeagol drooling over the one ring of power when I sit and stare at a prized frag on the rack.
