Can Goniopora heal?

I received this goniopora in today but it’s missing a polyp or two. Can this coral recover or is it a goner?

@Tahoe61 I believe it won't grow back, but it may grow over it. Well ask Tahoe61 for sure.

I wouldn't worry about a few missing polyps
The one in my picture had loads of missing polyps when I got it .....now look at at lol
I'm talking a good 20 odd missing polyps
It's also beating up a SPS next to it ....might frag it

Very nice coral you got there. Do you feed it? Mine hasn’t fully extended yet but I’m trying to feed it reef chili.

I've never actually target fed the red one
I use to try with the green one ... Reef roids.
Now I just broadcast feed the tank

How often do you broadcast feed? I’m going to look into maybe trying reef roids, I heard they’re pretty good.

Well it seems to have grown over and is looking good, hopefully it’ll last a while.

Twice a week with reef roids
I also feed a couple cubes of marine cuisine a couple times a week which has loads of different bits in it , some of it being very fine particles
Your goni is looking good now
