Bought a sheet of gsp, and i have 2 question. Can it be dipped in coral rx? And also can i place it directly on sand?

Dip yes, sand maybe. It would be better to get some sort of rock rubble or flat rock piece and place it on that

Yes and yes. It will take acid rain to kill it. Be prepared to trim and frag it if it takes hold. Basically isolate and make it easy for yourself to remove it if needed.

Don't know anything about coral rx but yes,it can be placed anywhere and it will grow anywhere.

it will take longer for it to grow on the sand than anything else. i would say leave it on a small frag plug and try to almost submerge it(as in, sand and top of frag plug are in line with each other) it will be forced to grow onto itself once there’s no more room on the plug and that’s when it’ll start basing out on the sand

Its a big sheet cant be placed on a plug it can cover my whole overflow

GSP will want to grow up toward the light. My recommendation is to place it high up so it invades that direction. Putting it on the bottom gives it free rein to the entire tank.

Gsp on sand. Best way to avoid it taking over a rock.

Mine is on a frag plug (I think) glued to a piece of rock and is growing over the sand just fine. It is also starting to climb up the front glass a bit... guess it's time to frag it.

Mine went from sand to glass and back again. I have another tank I just keep adding it to.
