Can I add a Fox Face or am I done?

I'd love to just add one more fish, a One-Spot Foxface.. but I am not sure if it would be pushing the limits or not.

What do you think? Did I hit my limit or can I add a one-spot foxface?

Quite a list of fish but if you get a small foxy you should be fine.

A small one would be OK just remember that they get a good size. I believe that your at the limits and I'm not sure your Tang would welcome the addition. My Tomini still chases mine. Even after being stung drunk a couple of times

Why do you suggest a magnificent over o e spot?

Isnt it larger?

They are all the same just the colors are different.
I have a magnificent in my 200 for three years and he's about to get 5".
While I had also a spot and he was bigger after 3 years.

Foxfaces do get large, but can certainly be fine in that size tank. If your parameters are good, than your tank should be fine to add it.

Foxfaces do get large, but can certainly be fine in that size tank. If your parameters are good, than your tank should be fine to add it.

I agree as always. I also like a magnificent foxface although I find them to be more shy initially than others.

They are also slow growers typically, my 5.5" mag foxface has grown perhaps .25" in 1.5-2 years

I don't often comment on the forum here, but I will now. I noticed some comments urging you to get a small foxface.
ANY fish should only be purchased BASED ON IT'S FULL-GROWN ADULT SIZE. Babies don't remain babies very long.
My foxface, was 3 inches long and really cute in my 90 gallon tank less than 3 years ago.
Today he is pushing 7 inches and eats like a pig. A fish of this adult size adds a huge biological load to your tank, especially if it's a reef tank.
Don't get me wrong, I love my foxface. I just think that he would be happier in a much larger tank. Unfortunately , it's not always easy to find homes for large fish that have outgrown our tanks.

A full grown foxface can be fine in a 75. Not everyone may agree, but I have seen it accomplished. Each tank is different, some are better equipped or designed to house a fish like that.

And while every fish should be purchased with knowledge of their needs. It doesn't have to go directly to the tank that it will live the rest of it's life. A juvenile fish can be comfortabley housed in a tank that it will eventually outgrow. As long as the aquarist understands it's needs and plans accordingly, it's fine. Whether it's a tank upgrade, or someone else to take care of it, being prepared for that eventuality is fine.

Both are equally beautiful fish. I am leaning towards One Spot for the bright yellow color. I just want to see a Magnificent in person before I make a final decision.
