Can I add Ammonia drops

I have a QT tank that is fully cycled and has a sponge filter. I just removed the last fish.

Can I add ammonia drops to keep cycle going until I get a fish?

Yes. Or empty/clean tank and buy anther sponge filter and keep it in your sump til you need it.
