Okay well sofar I have 2 clown fish 1 chromis and a cleaner shrimp I was wanting to get 1 more fish and its a royal gramma was wondering if the fish would be okay with my other fish and if I should even add it to my tank its a 20g x high tank

I'm not saying you cant, but royal grammas can get territorial in small tanks. Just a heads up
Ya that's y I was asking thank you do you recommend any other fish that will be good?

every fish is different what one species might be to one person another may have had success with. my royal gramma and diamond goby share a rock together. then again my 2 clowns, 6 line wrasse and royal gramma all swim in the same area always together. just depends if you use this link it should be able to help you choose your next. http://www.liveaquaria.com/general/compatibility_chart.cfm

We have our own compatibility chart here.

Compatibility charts are a good starting point, but getting personal experiences on specific species is ways best

How about a Helfrichi's Firefish C__Data_Users_DefApps_AppData_INTERNETEXPLORER_Temp_Saved Images_p-71250-helfrichi.jpg

I would be concerned about a helfrich, or any other firefish for that matter in a 20high with a pr of clowns, especially once they start spawning. Stick with a bottom dweller, such as a watchman goby.

If you really like the gramma, I have a 29 bc and I had it with a pajama and firefish and the pajama was actually the only one who ever showed aggression to the firefish. IMO they are beautiful fish so worth the chance for it to be a slightly more aggressive one. The thing that worries me more is the pair of clowns with the blue green chromis, as I assume that's what it is.

3 in a 20g seem to be stocked, just my opinion.
Maybe look into Fire shrimp, Tiger Conch and Fromia.
