Can i add more sand when...

I added half the bag about a month ago..I still have the other half of sand left.. bag isn't fully sealed will this be ok to add?

Sure...now if it was some bacteria laden 'live' sand (purchased or used) you will want to rinse it thoroughly. After my initial start up I just got straight dry sand to top off sand bed with (which I rinse but not too thoroughly).
